Article on webapp in teacher’s journal

Dear all,

Last week, an article appeared that I wrote together with my partners from the Stichting Leerplanontwikkeling (SLO) and Institute for Educational Measurement Cito. In the article, we present and discuss the teaching activities that we’ve developed as part of my research project ‘Moedertaal in NT2’ (the native language in education of Dutch as a second language; see https://nt2.sites.uu.nl). These activities help teachers to address multilingualism and language diversity in their classes.

The article is published in Tijdschrift Taal, a semi-scientific journal that aims to stimulate exchange between researchers of language and education, and teachers. I am confident it will reach a lot of teachers and help them find their way to our webapp and the teaching activities.
