Article in Trouw about language policy in Dutch Caribbean

One of the national newspapers recently published an article about the spectacular changes at the Gwendoline van Putten school for secondary education in St. Eustatius (Dutch Caribbean), since the implementation of a new language policy in the education system.

As I participated in the team that carried out the research project leading to the introduction of this new language policy, I’m happy to share this good news with you. Unfortunately the article is in Dutch, but those of you who are interested in the project can contact me for the full report or for other publications in English (or wait for the book that will be published by Springer later this year).
